Pre-filtration devices are critical to the Rain Harvesting process and should be installed at each downspout that supplies rainwater to the tank/cistern. These devices improve water quality, protect pumps and household appliances, and reduce tank/cistern maintenance by keeping leaves, debris and other pollutants out of the rainwater tank/cistern.
